A WAY OF LIFE
Ayurveda, "The Science of Life" in Sanskrit, was born in India 5000 years ago. Recognized as a natural traditional medicine by the World Health Organization, it is at the origin of Yoga, Aromatherapy and most of holistic Asian and natural medicines.
It is a life philosophy which offers a personalized and natural path to health, so as to restore a perfect balance between body, soul and mind, in order to preserve health.
Ayurveda provides personalized daily life recommendations based on a customized diagnosis and focused on 3 main topics: Skincare, Dietetics, Physical activity and Meditation
THE GLOBAL BEAUTY
Ayurvedic medicine considers beauty as the reflection of a general balance.
It is an holistic medicine that considers the individual and its environment as one and that reconciles three components of each individual: body, soul and mind.
This medicine aims to restore an emotional and physical balance to preserve health and beauty, and optimize well-being.
As skin is the first shield between inside and outside, TAAJ strives to develop formulas that have beneficial effects on skin.
At the heart of each formula, TAAJ judiciously combines sensoriality and expertise to offer skincare products with beneficial properties on body.
« In my opinion and as for the Ayurvedic medicine, beauty lies in a global well-being. My beauty ritual is to feel good in my head and in my body. That’s how I feel beautiful. »
Stéphane Lévy, TAAJ founder
DISCOVER THE PRODUCTS
Ayurveda defines three fundamental energies named Doshas, known in Sanskrit as Vata (Air), Pitta (Fire) and Kapha (Water and Earth).
These energies are part of us and their proportions determine each person’s profile.
According to the Ayurvedic medicine, these three Doshas should be balanced in order to reach an optimal well-being state.
In beauty care, the ayurvedic medicine uses this classification to define care products adapted to our personality, our way of life and our skin type.
Vata's skin is pale and little sensitive to sun, dry or normal, thin and reactive. Hair is fine, flexible, rather dry and fragile.
Pitta's skin is rather clear, hot, irritable and supple. Freckles and sun sensibility characterize this skin with acne tendency. Hair is rather fine, flexible, fragile, fair or copper-colored, and can become grey prematurely.
Kapha's skin is rather oily, resistant, elastic and well hydrated with enlarged pores. Hair is dense, bright and strong.
TAAJ skincare products have the feature of adapting themselves to your skin type as well as to your Ayurvedic profile, Vata, Pitta or Kapha, so as to offer you a personalized beauty solution.
